Complaints and Appeals
Qubahan Journal of Social Science (QJSS) provides authors, reviewers, readers, and other stakeholders with a transparent process for submitting complaints and editorial appeals.
Authors may appeal an editorial decision when they believe that a significant scholarly, factual, ethical, or procedural error materially affected the decision.
An appeal should:
• Identify the manuscript
• Clearly explain the grounds for appeal
• Address the relevant scholarly or procedural issue
• Provide supporting evidence where applicable
Where appropriate, the appeal should be evaluated by a senior editor who was not directly responsible for the disputed decision.
Complaints may concern editorial procedures, peer-review conduct, publication ethics, conflicts of interest, delays, journal conduct, or published content.
Complaints are handled objectively, proportionately, and confidentially.
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee reversal of an editorial decision.
