Authorship must reflect genuine scholarly contribution and accountability. Guest, gift, honorary, purchased, and ghost authorship are prohibited.

Research involving human participants must receive appropriate ethical approval where required. Authors should provide the ethics committee or Institutional Review Board name, approval/reference number where applicable, and informed-consent information where relevant.

Research involving vulnerable or culturally sensitive communities must demonstrate appropriate ethical safeguards.

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose relevant financial and non-financial competing interests.

Credible concerns regarding publication or research misconduct will be investigated fairly. Possible outcomes may include rejection, correction, expression of concern, retraction, or notification of relevant institutions where justified.
